Downtime pain hook
When to use: Use it as a first call to a company where outages hit productivity hard.
When to use
Use this as a first cold call to a business that loses real money and patience whenever systems go down, when your goal is to book a short IT audit.
Script
Hi decision maker, this is your name from company. You do not know me, so I will be quick and let you decide if it is worth another minute -- fair?
The reason for my call is that we keep seeing businesses like business quietly absorb the cost of downtime: staff sitting idle, work stalling, and downtime cost adding up every time something breaks.
Most teams treat that as just the way it is, but it is usually fixable, and the fix is often cheaper than the outages. We start by finding where the risk actually sits.
Can I ask, when your systems go down, roughly what does an hour of that cost you?
If your setup is rock solid and outages are a non-issue, that is great and I will not keep calling.
If downtime is a real drag, could we book meeting length for a no-cost audit of where you are exposed? I will follow up once by timeframe.
